Caframo 12V Sirocco II Fan (Black)

High quality internal fans are designed for extreme power efficiency to support long off grid stays. A standard unit like the Sirocco II typically draws as little as 0.35 amps on its highest setting. This ultra low consumption allows you to run the fan throughout the night without significant impact on your house battery levels.

Compared to older cooling units, modern fans use efficient motors that maximize airflow while minimizing current draw. This efficiency is a major advantage for travelers relying on solar setups. Check your available storage in our Lithium Batteries collection or track your daily draw with our Battery Monitors.

Yes, fans featuring a gimbaled mount can be tilted and rotated to provide 360 degree airflow. This allows you to direct the breeze exactly where it is needed, whether you are sleeping in a bed or working in a galley. This flexibility is a practical addition for managing comfort in varied conditions.

When the fan is not required, the frame folds flat against the mounting surface. This design saves valuable space and prevents the unit from being knocked while you are moving around a tight van or canopy interior. FingerSafe blades are constructed from a soft material that stops immediately if touched while the fan is spinning. This specialized design allows the fan to operate safely without the need for a bulky protective grill. Removing the grill results in much better airflow and a more compact profile for your installation.

These fans are a practical safety choice for small sleeping quarters or areas where children might reach the unit. The blade design provides a steady breeze without the risk of injury. This helps maintain a comfortable environment even in the tightest off grid setups.

Premium 12V fans are engineered for whisper quiet operation to help you rest without distraction. The high efficiency motors provide a consistent breeze with minimal mechanical noise, making them ideal for use throughout the night. Many models also feature integrated timer presets so the unit can turn off automatically once you have fallen asleep.

Adding a quiet fan is a smart way to clear humidity and stay cool during still nights. This active airflow significantly improves sleeping comfort in enclosed setups. Explore our Rooftop Tents collection to see where these fans fit best in a mobile sleeping configuration.
