A 100Ah lithium battery can physically run a 2000W inverter, but usually only for very short periods. A 2000W load pulls approximately 160 to 180 amps from a 12V battery, which often exceeds the maximum continuous discharge rating of the internal battery management system.

Before connecting a large inverter, you must check if your battery is rated to handle that level of current. If the load is too high, the battery will simply shut down to protect the cells. For running heavy appliances like microwaves or kettles, a larger 200Ah bank or multiple batteries in parallel is a much better choice.
