Roam Gear "Roam Gear" Stubby Cooler (Black)

Roam Gear stubby coolers are available in a clean black only design that aligns with our minimal aesthetic. You can choose between a standard non magnetic format or a magnetic version, providing a practical solution for keeping your drink secure around the campsite or rig.

The magnetic option is particularly useful for off grid travel, as it allows you to stick your cooler directly to a metal canopy, fridge, or vehicle panel. This feature helps prevent spills on uneven surfaces and keeps your drink within reach while you work around your vehicle. Each cooler features our subtle logo and is constructed to handle regular use in harsh conditions. Explore our full range of brand accessories in the Roam Merch collection.

Roam Gear stubby coolers are manufactured from high density neoprene, providing a thick thermal barrier that keeps your drinks cold in high ambient temperatures. This material is selected for its superior insulating properties and its ability to absorb condensation, which keeps your hands dry and prevents your beverage from warming up too quickly when exposed to the sun.

The durable neoprene construction also offers a layer of physical protection for your cans and bottles against knocks and scratches at the campsite. While a quality cooler is essential for the moment, maintaining a bulk supply of cold drinks requires a professional cooling setup for your rig. Roam Gear stubby coolers are designed to fit standard 375ml cans and bottles, which are the most common formats used at any campsite. The high density neoprene provides a small amount of stretch, providing a snug fit for glass bottles and aluminium cans.

This secure fit prevents the cooler from sliding off and maintains the insulation required to keep your drink cold in high heat. The construction includes a solid base to provide stability on camp tables or vehicle panels. This design provides a practical solution for any traveler looking to keep their beverage chilled while off grid.

Yes, Roam Gear offers magnetic stubby coolers alongside our standard black models. These coolers feature a powerful internal magnet that allows you to secure your drink to flat metal surfaces such as your vehicle panels, a steel canopy, or a camp fridge.

This feature is particularly useful for travelers who move camp frequently or spend time working around their rig, as it keeps your beverage within reach and prevents spills on uneven ground. The magnet is strong enough to hold a full can or bottle securely even on vertical surfaces. Browse our Roam Merch to find these magnetic options, or see our full range of Camping Gear for other campsite essentials.

Roam Gear does not offer a dedicated cooler for bottles alone, because our standard stubby coolers are designed to fit both 375ml cans and 375ml glass bottles. The high density neoprene provides enough stretch to create a secure and snug fit for different beverage shapes.

This design removes the need to pack separate accessories for your campsite setup. The thick material helps protect glass from minor knocks and provides the insulation required to keep your beverage cold in the heat.

Roam Gear stubby coolers are manufactured to handle the grit and heat of regular off grid use. We use high density neoprene with reinforced stitching to verify the cooler survives being tossed into gear bags or stuck to the side of a dusty rig. This material is naturally resistant to the red dust and moisture common at remote campsites, providing a practical barrier that keeps your drink cold even on scorching afternoons.

Using gear that holds up to Australian conditions helps reduce the friction of camp life. While a quality cooler helps in the moment, maintaining a cold supply of bevvies for a long trip requires a coordinated power and cooling setup.
