About Power
Power is not a product. It is a budget.
Everything else in the vehicle spends it. The fridge runs all night against it. The lights, the fan, the water pump, the phone charging on the dash, all of them draw from the same pool. This collection is where you decide how big the pool is, how it gets refilled, and how you know what is left.
Three questions decide it. How much do you draw in a day, added up honestly, fridge included. How do you put it back, from the alternator while driving, from solar while parked, or from mains when a powered site turns up. And how do you know where you stand, because a battery with no monitor is a battery you find out about when it is flat.
The battery is the pool. Lithium for weight and usable depth, AGM for simplicity and price, slimline formats for the setups where a box will not fit. The chargers refill it: DC to DC units that take alternator power and turn it into a proper charge, AC chargers for mains, and the cable and fusing that make the run from source to battery safe. Monitors and shunts tell you what is actually in the bank rather than what the voltage suggests. Inverters turn the 12V budget into 240V when something needs it. Boxes and trays hold the whole thing still on a corrugated track.
The mistake people make is buying the battery first. Buy the daily draw first, on paper, then the battery that carries it, then the charging that matches the battery. The parts here are chosen to work with each other rather than just sit in the same catalogue.
Set the budget properly once and the rest of the vehicle gets to spend it without anyone counting.
