About Rekcharge
Rekcharge is the range that finishes an install.
Every 12V build reaches a point where the expensive decisions are made and the job still is not done. The battery is chosen, the charger is ordered, the fridge is in the back. What remains is thirty small parts, none of which anyone researched, all of which stop the job if they are missing on a Sunday afternoon.
That is what this range covers. Anderson plugs and the surface mounts, flush panels and dust covers that go with them. Cigarette and USB sockets, singly and in combination panels with a voltmeter. Toggle switches and multi-switch plates. Circuit breakers in inline waterproof and the fuses and holders that go alongside. Battery cable lugs across a range of cable and stud sizes, joiners for the run that came up short, cable glands for the hole through the roof. Battery boxes with outlets on the face, extension leads, amp meters and crimping tools.
None of it is expensive. Most of it costs less than the fuel to go and get it, which is the argument for having a spare of the ones you use.
Two rules cover most of it. Connectors, cable and lugs are rated above the current that will pass through them, while fuses and breakers are chosen to suit the circuit and cable they protect, which is a different job. Match the connector to what it plugs into, and check both sizes on anything that has two, because a lug has a cable size and a hole size and only one of them gets checked.
